We are a leading humanitarian organization dedicated to fighting poverty and injustice and: reducing human suffering. We place special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. Women are at the heart of PCO's community-based efforts to improve basic education, prevent the spread of disease including HIV/AIDs, and increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunity and protect natural resources. PCO also delivers emergency aid to survivors of conflict and natural disasters, and helps people rebuild their lives.
PCO is one of the nation’s leading national humanitarian organizations, committed to helping families amongst the most vulnerable communities improve their lives and achieve lasting victories over poverty and suffering. Founded in 2006 to provide relief to survivors of the long war of liberation, PCO quickly became a tested and trusted vehicle for the compassion and generosity of hundreds of thousands.
